Week 2 - Maori Language Week

Guten tag

We had the first of the auditions for our performance last week - we have some really good talent and it may be hard to actually choose. Really nice to see people willing to get up and try out for different parts. We all know it's not easy getting up on stage!
A reminder that all the Yr 8s are visiting Wairarapa College on Thursday. They will leave here soon after 1pm and return just after 3.
On Friday staff from Rathkeale will be talking to the Yr 8 boys.
Next Monday we are having a Teachers Only Day.
Wednesday night there is School Concert at 7pm in the Hall - apparently well worth going to.

Term 3

Welcome back!

Our syndicate newsletter went home on Monday with more information about what we hope to do this term.

Today (Wednesday 21) we went down to the wetlands and helped with more planting with the Henley Lake Trust.

Hopefully on Friday we will be having the first auditions for our performance 'Gold Rush'. This will take up quite a lot of our time this term but hopefully (it will!) be really successful. Mrs Hogkinson is our Producer for this. Every one will be taking some part in this even if it isn't a major speaking part.

Our Unit for this term is 'Green as, Clean as'. More about this later.
