For 20 credits - what sort of boat is this?
For 30 credits - what harbour is it in?

Well hopefully that video of Whacky Clothing did come out! Sorry about the lack of quality in the filming! Gives an idea of some of the great outfits that were worn though.
Now coming up to Week 8 - still swimming although it's certainly getting colder in the mornings but hopefully we'll be able to keep this going for a bit longer.
We have started our unit on Our Heritage/Our place. This looks at the history of our area both from a European and Maori perspective. Should be an interesting unit.
We've already had talks from both Gareth Winter and Jason Kerehi. Both really interesting to listen to.
Well done Tayne who got the question about the photo correct. Was of Helen Clarke who is now head of the U.N. Development Agency. Tayne is now trying to get the first question - good luck!
Keep watching - more questions to come!

Great to see so many of you taking part in Whacky Clothing Day. We'll have some photos of this soon.

Welcome to Week 6!
We've got Art on Monday then on Friday we're having a 'Whacky Clothing Day'. The aim of this is to raise money to help eradicate the rats from Mount Bruce. Wear your whackiest clothing and pay a gold coin donation.
Also on Friday our class will be taking the School Assembly.
In the afternoon of Friday our performing arts drama group are going to see a play at the Town Hall.
Question for this week - who is the lady in the photo by my desk holding a cup of tea and what is her job? First person to tell me gets 50 credits!
Well done to those people who've done their homework. Remember if you don't take a sheet you still need to get some news, learn your spelling words and read.

This is one of our computer experts who I am sure will be as good as the ones we had last year.
No one guessed the photo and earned 50 credits. It was the pavillion from the film "The Sound of Music" in Salzburg, Austria.
We'll try again with another photo so watch this space.

More on Whacky Clothing!

Mount Bruce Wildlife Centre have asked for our help in raising some money to help eradicate all the rats so to start this off we are having "Whacky clothing" (whack a rat!) as a mufti day (gold coin donation - Friday 12 March) but with the difference that you can wear totally way out clothing - your chance to be way out and different!
Posters will be coming around soon to advertise this.

Swimming - still taking place and hopefully will be able to continue for a bit so that we can continue to take advantage of our great facility.
